IMPORTANT DATES AND DETAILS
The Peruvian Park PTA is thrilled to announce the addition of a play this year! Participation in the play is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and no experience is necessary. The tentative play is Disney Kids: The Jungle Book.
Auditions will be held in the beginning of January, (this will be an easy audition; it’s really just a way for us to know what special skills or talents each kid brings to the ensemble). More information about this will be sent out at a later date, but in order to start planning, we need interested students to register now!
- December 20: Play audition materials sent home.
- January 6-10: In person auditions after school.
- January 8: Online auditions due for students who do not want to audition in person.
- January 21-March 27: Rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday at Peruvian Park from 3:15-4:10. Please plan on your child being at every rehearsal. Roll will be taken and in the case of excessive absence, your child will be asked to leave the play.
- January 21: Parent Info meeting will directly follow the first rehearsal at 4:10pm. Please plan on attending!
- March 27: Dress rehearsal at Midvale Middle School.
- April 1 and April 2: Final performances at Midvale Middle School in the evening.
We can’t do this without the help of parent volunteers! There will be many ways to help out, even if you have no theater experience. More information will be shared at the parent info meeting.
